Youth

Youth

The goal of Hope Youth is to love, teach, and serve students and their families, so that the youth grow in their faith and dependence on Jesus, become spiritually healthy members of the Church, and are compelled by the gospel to love and serve their neighbors. We seek to do this by creating a community for the youth that gives them the opportunity to share their lives, hear the good news of the gospel each week, and be involved in missions and mercy work.

Sunday School – Sundays, 9:30-10:20am

On Sunday mornings, we dive deep into either a book of the Bible or a study on the Christian life. On the last Sunday of each month, we have breakfast and sing together. Sunday school runs from the Sunday after Labor Day through the first Sunday in June.

winter/spring 2019 Topics:

Middle School: “Learning to Pray Like Jesus”
High School: “The Cry of the Soul: Studies in Psalms and Ecclesiastes”

Youth Fellowship – Sundays, 5:00-6:45pm

Middle School – 2nd & 4th SUNDAYS

All youth in grades 6-8 meet in the church youth rooms. We eat a meal, sing together, listen to a Bible lesson, and finish with a large group game.

High School – 1st & 3rd Sundays

All youth in grades 9-12 meet in host homes to share a meal together, engage in a relevant, topical discussion, and spend time in smaller, gender-based groups for prayer and sharing.
