Looking Up – Summer Missions Invitation

Emi Holman   -

Dear Hope Family,

At Hope Church, “missions” takes many forms. Our goal is to provide our members with opportunities to serve both our local community and our brothers and sisters around the world. Our vision statement reads: “At Hope Presbyterian Church, we long for every person to receive and thrive in the embrace of the Father, to be equipped as disciples of the Son, and to engage the world by the power of the Spirit.” We are actively involved with various ministries and missionaries to help our church body engage globally.

This summer, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for engagement: a short-term mission trip abroad, led by Ethan and Emi. Everyone is invited! We encourage children, youth, and adults to join. High schoolers can attend with or without their parents. Our prayer is that this trip will foster connections, service, and engagement with our ministry partners.

We are currently working to finalize the location and ministry we will serve alongside. We encourage you to start thinking about this opportunity for you and your family. We anticipate the trip will occur within the first two weeks of July, and we will hold an interest meeting in November to gather your thoughts and answer any questions.

Once we have selected our ministry partner, we will share more details about costs, age requirements, and specific dates. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out to Emi or Ethan. We hope you’ll consider joining us on this exciting journey!

Blessings,
Ethan and Emi
