Town Hall 12.8.24

Dear Hope Church Family,

This past Sunday’s Town Hall Meeting was an exciting time to update the congregation regarding the significant ground we have covered since our previous gathering in May. We thanked the Ministry Architects Renovation Team and celebrated their hard work over the past 18 months. We learned about the innovative work of the “Hope for the City” team that is helping us engage other parts of our city and consider how we can be a blessing. We dreamed together about the prospect of expanding our campus in order to make room for more of God’s good work among us, as we laid out broad strokes of the upcoming campaign for a new building that has the capacity for current and even future growth of God’s ministry at Hope.

So that you can more fully process these encouraging developments or if you were unable to join us for the meeting, we are passing along more information about each of these promising, hopeful steps forward in our life together as Hope Church.

I also want to share one very specific footnote from the preliminary discussion of the “Making Room for More” campaign: if you would like to make an end-of-the-year contribution to the Building Campaign before 2024 closes out, please do so! Simply indicate that your gift is directed to the Building Fund.

Lastly, the Session, staff, and I are eager to receive your questions, concerns, good ideas, and initial responses to what you hear and see in these reports. Please let us know what you are thinking and what we may be missing!

Grace and peace,
David
