Making Room for More Update

David Speakman   -

Dear Hope Church Family,

I am eager to update you about the progress of the Making Room for More Campaign that we launched in February and have been investing in over the past 6 weeks.

Celebration

Please celebrate with me that over $5 million has been pledged for the development of our campus, the expansion of our building, and the empowerment of our shared vision and mission as Hope Church. That figure represents over 4 times our highest Operating Budget as a church and is cause for real rejoicing. Your pledges of sacrificial, faithful, trusting, and generous giving enable us to take the next, necessary steps towards fulfilling our vision and mission as Hope and realizing our goals for this campaign.

Participation

Hope has received over 100 commitment cards thus far! We would love for your voice to be heard and for your participation to be registered. If you have not been able to fill out a commitment card yet, we have cards available at the church which you can return through the offering on Sunday morning, drop off in the designated baskets in the Worship Hall, or even drop off at the church office during the week if that’s more convenient for you. We have even developed an online Commitment Card that is accessible here and on the Making Room for More website.

If you are not able to participate through a pledge, letting us know that you are able to support the campaign in prayer is a huge encouragement and a great way to help us know that you are part of the good work God is doing at Hope.

Our goal is 100% participation from our members; we would like to hear from everyone, even if you don’t plan to contribute financially. Please take a moment and respond with a commitment card this week.

Invitation

Central to the Making Room for More Campaign launch and progress, we set aside times to gather the Hope Church officers, staff, leadership, and anyone who indicated they wished to make an Advanced Commitment pledge. These gatherings were intended to galvanize our leadership and to lay out the details of the project, answer questions, and equip folks to make an informed Advanced Commitment to the campaign.

While we made these gatherings available to the congregation, we realize many of you were not able to attend or were unsure if you wanted to participate in the Advanced Commitment. We would like to provide a second opportunity to unpack the details of the project and ask questions during a more convenient time. We want everyone to have the same access to the particulars of the project so that you can make an informed pledge. We will offer these opportunities the next two Sundays during the Sunday School hour in the Worship Hall.

Grace and peace,

David
