Coping with infertility or miscarriage can be such a private and silent struggle. Pastor Steve Wiens captures the range of emotions that accompany these painful times, saying that women/couples often feel “lonely, exposed, on hold, invaded, awkward, angry, stressed, despair, loss, and/or ambivalence.” Although it can be difficult to articulate this host of emotions to those who have not experienced them, sharing openly with other women who have walked or are walking down the same path can be a tremendous encouragement.
At Hope, we want to provide a space for women who are struggling with infertility or loss through miscarriage to share our stories and pray with one another for God’s healing and for hope in His sovereign plan. We meet monthly at Joan Mitchell’s home. We also invite any women who have experienced infertility or loss through miscarriage in the past to come and serve as mentors and prayer warriors for those currently in the midst of the journey. Please contact Joan Mitchell for further information.
We want to be there for you during times of celebration as well as during life’s challenges. Pastoral counseling is offered by Senior Pastor, David Speakman, and Pastor for Students and Families, Ethan Smith.
