Dear Hope Family,
I can’t wait to join with you this Sunday evening to feast, play, laugh, and stuff our faces with Pelican Snoballs. If you haven’t heard, we’re having a Fall Fest on the lawn from 5-7pm. Food, drinks, and lawn games (plus some kid-themed activities) will be available. Bring a friend or neighbor. Dress up as Grogu or Bluey, or just come as you are.
Speaking of feasting with friends, this past week I had the opportunity to have breakfast with one of our longtime missionary partners, Roy Clifford. Roy and his wife, Rebeca, live in the Dominican Republic, where Roy has been the Young Life camp director there since its inception. Roy shared with me the exciting news that he has officially transitioned to a new position. I’ll let him tell you about it himself in the video below.
Roy is in the process of raising an additional $15,000/year. Hope is already financially committed to Roy and Rebeca, but if you’d like to partner with them as an individual or family, you can do so electronically here or mail checks to:

Last, please be praying for our Elders’ retreat, which is taking place tonight through Saturday afternoon. We’ll be praying for you, thanking God for his good and gracious work at Hope, and also dreaming about the future.
See you Sunday!
