Ernie Hobbs

Ernie Hobbs, a Hertford, NC native, has been part of Hope Church since relocating back to the area in 2010 with his wife, Jenny, and their children. Ernie and Jenny, who met at Wake Forest University in 1990, have four children: Madison, a local high school student; Meredith, a student at Meredith College; Michael, a student at ASU; and, Melanie, who lives in Clemmons.

With a 30-year career in the biotech and life sciences industry, Ernie currently leads as the Business Development Director at Strand Life Sciences in Bangalore, India. He has been a Deacon at Hope Church since 2015. Beyond his professional and church commitments, Ernie contributes to his community as a volunteer fireman at the Vienna Fire Department, enjoys woodworking, and serves with Marked Men for Christ.

Ernie is on Sabbatical in 2024.
