Sami

Sami was born in Kansas, raised in Colorado, and moved to Winston-Salem in 1964. She graduated from Reynolds High School in 1968, received a B.A. from UNC-G in 1972, and a M.A.Ed from Wake Forest University in 1982. Her teaching career has spanned five decades and multiple grade levels/exceptionalities. She’s currently an Adjunct ESL Instructor at Forsyth Tech. Sami serves as both a board member and volunteer chaplain at Robinhood YMCA. Her hobbies include walking, traveling, and Wake Forest sporting events. John and Sami were married in 1990 and joined Hope in 2022.
